THE Invisalign® PROCESS
Curious about how Invisalign will transform your smile? Let’s walk you through the journey:
Step 1: Consultation - Your journey begins with a personalised consultation where Dr. Shah or Dr. Patel will listen to your concerns and discuss how we can help you achieve your ideal smile. They’ll assess your unique needs, determine the best way to improve alignment, and start your customised treatment plan.
Step 2: Digital Treatment Planning - Following your consultation, we’ll take a 3D digital scan of your teeth, allowing us to precisely plan the movement of each tooth. You’ll even see a simulation of your final result—an exciting preview of your future smile before you start treatment!
Step 3: Aligners Creation and Fitting - Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll send your custom aligner design to the manufacturer. Your aligners will arrive back at our clinic in about three weeks, and you’ll return for a fitting appointment. At this visit, we’ll ensure a perfect fit and provide guidance on how to wear your aligners, along with instructions on changing them every 1-3 weeks.
Step 4: Your Invisalign Routine - For optimal results, you’ll wear your aligners 20-22 hours daily, giving you flexibility for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. You’ll come in for a checkup about every six weeks to monitor your progress.
Step 5: Retainer & Lasting Results - Once your Invisalign journey is complete, we’ll recommend wearing a retainer to maintain your beautiful, straight smile long-term. This prevents teeth from shifting back and keeps your smile looking great for years to come!

Dr Yasmin Patel (GDC Reg 271839)
Graduated from King’s College London with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2017 but her passion for both the sciences and arts started long before this. Medical aesthetics allowed her to pursue this love of the intersection between both, and since 2019 has been learning how to enhance someone’s natural beauty through a variety of treatment modalities such as cosmetic dental treatments, whitening, Invisalign, dermal filler, skincare, and toxin treatments.
Yasmin is currently enrolled on a Level 7 diploma with the UK’s Best Independent Training Provider to ensure that all of her knowledge and approaches are up to date, and of the very best quality, allowing her to bring this into clinic.
